We are the first to World Cup in the world! I've believed that we can do it.
Our goal is the best4 in World Cup. I believe it'll come true.

Hi AEZ. I think you want to say, "Our goal is to be the best in the World Cup" or maybe "Our goal is to be in the final 4 in the World Cup." (I'm actually an English teacher. Write to me if you have questions.)

Hi AEZ

I've bookedmarked you and will try to stop by regularly to help you; but, you're doing very well already! My parents have Japanese exchange students almost every year, so I really appreciate how difficult it is to learn this crazy language.

One little piece of advice right away - be careful about the differences between proper English and the shortcuts that people use when emailing and posting on blogs. The person who commented before me has used "ur" instead of the correct word, which would be "your" (no slam intended, of course).

Good for you!!

Dear AEZ,

I want you to know I am proud of your work! You inspire me! I am moving to Ningbo China in August. My husband will be teaching math at a high school there. I plan to learn mandarin while we are there. Your dedication and hard work in order to learn english inspire me to work hard in Chinese.

Thank you.

Hi AEZ,

WOW! I'm seriously impressed. I'm Japanese as well, but English is my first language. When I tried to learn Japanese, it was so hard. You are really inspiring!

If you have time, you should read my blog. Maybe reading English will help you? I always spell and grammar check, so you won't be learning the wrong things!

Yes! "Final 4" is right.
In Japan, we usually use "best". Why?

And "The" World Cup is right. I see.

Thanks!

I'm a Japanese person living in the United States, so I'm better at English than Japanese. Anyway, don't give up!

えっと。アメリカに住んでいる日本人です。なので、日本語が下手です。
とにかく、英語の勉強をあきらめないでどんどんやっていってください。

Haha, your English is much better than my Japanese I must say.

I might hope to do a blog like yours over the summer. It will be the opposite to yours and over summer I plan to learn the basics of Japanese, and hopefully a blog like this will help me to learn Japanese!

Don't give up!

Hi there. I come from the Philippines and though we have our own language, a great many of my countrymen understand English quite well. From my experience, reading a lot of books and watching a lot of English language programs and movies on television really helped, probably more than school did. (English is taught in our classrooms, as well) Maybe it would help for you to soak up a lot of these materials on a regular basis. Good luck with your English and it would be interesting to read up on your progress!
