I'm angry. And a lot of Japanese is also angry like me.In my latest post, I wrote the incident that a Chinese fishing boat bumped against Japan Coast Guard's ship. But! The Chinese government kept insisting "Japan is WRONG, because Japanese ship bumped against Chinese boat".

Japanese government don't make it public. Well, why were the video uploaded on YouTube? It's that there is the MAN fights for the justice. We say "He is a HERO".
Japanese government is unreliable, because they are the LEFTIST. They think China is most important country for Japan. So, they can't say "China is wrong".

But, We don't think so. We think China is EVIL for the world. We say "China is WRONG".

Hi,guys. Long time no see you.I have NOT stopped writing yet.
Today, I want to post about the difference of Japan and China.

At September 9, an incident happened in The Senkaku Islands area of Japanese territory. A Chinese fishing boat that took illegal fishing bumped against the patrol boat of Japan Coast Guard. At the result, Chinese crew were arrested. But...

After that, CRAZY CHINA has FUCKIN' insistence that The Senkaku Islands are HIS territory protested strongly about this act. And China put various pressures to Japan; embargo of the rare earth, cancellation of trips to Japan, stopping of cultural exchanges, and CUSTODY of JAPANESE CIVILIAN in China.

At September 24, Our FUCKIN' GOVERNMENT of The Democratic Party of Japan decided discharge of the Chinese captain. (Other crew were discharged before this decision)
Our government said "There is no political intervention about this judgment". But ALMOST JAPANESE didn't believe it.
Japan bowed to Chinese pressure after all...

And...
At October 16, yesterday, many people held a street demonstration against CHINESE TYRANNY in Tokyo. I heard about 3,000 PEOPLE took part in this demonstration.
There is a mom with stroller in this demonstration.

By the way, demonstrations against Japan happened at 3 cities in China at same day. I heard it's VERY VIOLENT, Japanese restaurant and Japanese supermarket were attacked, and windows were crashed by them.

I think, no, no, no... many Japanese think Chinese have a LOW STANDARD of LIVING. And we think we can NEVER BELIEVE them.

The Basic View on the Sovereignty over the Senkaku Islands

From 1885 on, surveys of the Senkaku Islandss had been thoroughly made by the Government of Japan through the agencies of Okinawa Prefecture and by way of other methods. Through these surveys, it was confirmed that the Senkaku Islands had been uninhabited and showed no trace of having been under the control of China. Based on this confirmation, the Government of Japan made a Cabinet Decision on 14 January 1895 to erect a marker on the Islands to formally incorporate the Senkaku Islands into the territory of Japan.

Since then, the Senkaku Islands have continuously remained as an integral part of the Nansei Shoto Islands which are the territory of Japan. These islands were neither part of Taiwan nor part of the Pescadores Islands which were ceded to Japan from the Qing Dynasty of China in accordance with Article II of the Treaty of Shimonoseki which came into effect in May of 1895.

Accordingly, the Senkaku Islands are not included in the territory which Japan renounced under Article II of the San Francisco Peace Treaty. The Senkaku Islands have been placed under the administration of the United States of America as part of the Nansei Shoto Islands, in accordance with Article III of the said treaty, and are included in the area, the administrative rights over which were reverted to Japan in accordance with the Agreement Between Japan and the United States of America Concerning the Ryukyu Islands and the Daito Islands signed on 17 June 1971. The facts outlined herein clearly indicate the status of the Senkaku Islands being part of the territory of Japan.

The fact that China expressed no objection to the status of the Islands being under the administration of the United States under Article III of the San Francisco Peace Treaty clearly indicates that China did not consider the Senkaku Islands as part of Taiwan. It was not until the latter half of 1970, when the question of the development of petroleum resources on the continental shelf of the East China Sea came to the surface, that the Government of China and Taiwan authorities began to raise questions regarding the Senkaku Islands.

Furthermore, none of the points raised by the Government of China as "historic, geographic or geological" evidence provide valid grounds, in light of international law, to support China's arguments regarding the Senkaku Islands.

We did it!

The World Cup started in South Africa. Japan is one of the team in Group E. Everybody thought Japan is the most lowest ability team in this group. Many Japanese also thought same thing.

But, but, but... Japan beat Cameroon at first game against all expectations!!
In fact, I had a hunch that Japan will win before the game starts. Because I felt there is no unity among Cameroon. And my hunch was right!

Our hero is Keisuke Honda has played soccer in Russia. He will become a savor for Japan. Watch this movie! This is Honda!

GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAL!!

Next game is against Holland. Holland is stronger than Cameroon. But I believe Japan's victory. Because Honda had played in Holland before Russia. He knows Holland well. He will surely get goals again.

"HAYABUSA" Back To The Earth

Outline of HAYABUSA

Asteroids are thought to be celestial bodies that preserve information from the time of the Solar System's formation. If we collect a sample from an asteroid and bring it back to Earth to carry out precise research on it, we can gain some
precious clues to understand the origin and evolution of the Solar System.

Bringing back a sample from a celestial body in the Solar System is called "Sample Return." "HAYABUSA" is a probe to verify the practicality of acquired technology developed to archive future full-scale "sample return missions."

"HAYABUSA' was launched aboard the M-V Launch Vehicle on May 9,2003. It was accelerated by a swing-by of the Earth in May 2004 and reached its target Asteroid Itokawa on September 12,2005, after traveling about 2 billion kilometers. in September and October that year, "HAYABUSA" completed the most remote-sensing and measurement of the geometry of Itokawa and made two landings in November to collect a sample from Itakawa.

Many many accidents attacked "HAYABUSA" during voyage, but a lot of efforts and ideas of stuffs help him. And "HAYABUSA" completely responded to their requests. It's just a miracle.

His voyage finishes tonight.
He drops a capsule on the earth, and after that, he burns out in the atmosphere.
This thought is quite Japanese way, many Japanese feel "HAYABUSA" got a soul.
So, we'll say to him, "Welcome home, you're a really big guy!".

A Depression of Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day. There are many customs for Valentine's Day in the world, of course, Japan has an original custom. It is very very sweet.

In Japan, woman tells man her affection with chocolate at Valentine's Day. So Japanese women buy expensive chocolate at celebrated shop, or make original chocolate by themselves at home before Valentine's Day. Therefore, every dental clinic is full of good-looking guys after Valentine's day in Japan.

And there is an another strange custom about Valentine's Day. It is "GIRI CHOCO" system.
"GIRI" means duty or obligation, but I can't explain the essence. "GIRI" is one of Japanese original concept.
"GIRI CHOCO" system is that women give chocolate to men who are mere friends, co-workers or classmates. This system helps many many lonely men. Of course, I will be also helped this system in this year...

Is there a woman who gives me chocolate, not "GIRI"?

The Rye Will Stay in My Soul Forever

I was shocked by one news.

It's J.D.Salinger's death. Because, my most loved novel is "The Catcher in the Rye".
When I read "The Catcher in the Rye" first, I was a high school student. It's about 25 years ago.
But, I'll never forget the impact, impression and sympathy for "Holden".
In fact, I read his story for many times. Of course, I'll read it for many times after this.

I think Holden may be Salinger. Or, Salinger may be Holden?

May his soul rest in peace.

「ライ麦畑は永遠に僕の心の中にある」

先日、ショックなニュースを聞いた。

サリンジャーの死だ。なぜなら、僕の一番好きな小説が「ライ麦畑でつかまえて」だから。
「ライ麦」を最初に読んだのは、僕が高校生のときだった。２５年前のことだ。
でも、“ホールデン”に対する衝撃や感動や共感は、決して忘れることができない。
事実、彼のストーリーは何度も読んだし、これからも何度も読むと思う。

僕は、ホールデンはサリンジャーじゃないかって思う。それか、サリンジャーはホールデンになりたかったのかもね。

彼のご冥福をお祈りします。

"Akeome" is the informal greeting at New Year's Day in Japan and it means "Happy New Year". We have the custom of sending New Year's cards said "Nengajo" at New Year's Day.

2010 is the year of the Tiger, so I used three colors symbolize the tiger: yellow, black and white.

Have You Thought About "Climate Change"?

I accidentally found one site on the Web. That's "Blog Action Day".
This site says

"Blog Action Day is an annual event held every October 15 that unites the world’s bloggers in posting about the same issue on the same day with the aim of sparking discussion around an issue of global importance. Blog Action Day 2009 will be one of the largest-ever social change events on the web."

I immediately joined this event because I sympathize the aim.
The issue of this year is "Climate Change". And in Japan, today is already October 15, so I want to post about "Climate Change" today.

I think it had snowed heavily when I was kid. I used to make snowman in my childhood. But recently, it's a few times that the snow pile up. And I heard the snowfall of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa becomes less and less every year.
Why? "The Global Warning" is one of the cause? I exactly don't know which is right or wrong. But we should do everything what we can for stopping the global warning. It's good to do a slight thing.
For example, turning off the light of the room nobody stay, don't crank up the air conditioner so much, trying to use the public transport, etc...

Now, if we act nothing, the world may be irrecoverable by ourselves...

「気候変動について考えたことはありますか？」

ウェブで偶然あるサイトを見つけた。それが“ブログ・アクション・デイ”だ。
曰く。

“ブログアクションデイは、世界中のブロガーが毎年10月15日に、同じ一つのテーマについての記事を投稿しようというイベントです。
国境を越えて世界中の人びとの議論が始まるきっかけになることを目指しています。”

その目的に共感したから、すぐにこのイベントに参加した。今年のテーマは「気候変動」だそうだ。しかも日本では、今日はもうすでに10月15日だ。だから今日は「気候変動」について書こうと思う。

僕が小さなころはたくさん雪が降っていたように思う。子供の頃は、よく雪だるまを作ったものだ。でも最近では、雪が積もることが少なくなった。それに、アフリカのキリマンジャロの冠雪が年々少なくなっているって聞いた。
なぜ？“地球温暖化”が原因の一つ？それが正しいかどうか、僕は正確にはわからない。でも、温暖化を止めるために、僕らが出来ることは全てやるべきだ。それはほんの些細なことでも構わない。
例えば、誰もいない部屋の電気を消すとか、エアコンを効かせ過ぎないとか、公共の交通機関を使うようにするとか、などなど･･･

今、もし僕らが何も行動しなければ、世界は僕らのせいで、取り返しのつかないことになるかもしれない･･･

The Early Bird Catches The Worm.

I was very busy on Thursday and Friday. Thursday, It was 23:00 over when I came home, and yesterday, it was 0:30.
I have to give a presentation to my client next Wednesday, therefore I was making its data with coworkers.

Today, it was 11:30 when I waked up! Ah... My morning blew up. When I wake up late in the morning, I think making a loss.
After that, I had a breakfast (lunch?), washed clothes, cleaned my room, studied English, watched TV a little, went to market and book store. When I came home back, it was 16:00. I felt I did nothing today, and lost a day.

But, next Monday is a holiday in Japan, yeah! I still have 2 holidays.
I get early in the next morning! Maybe...

「早起きは三文の得」

木曜日と金曜日はとても忙しかった。木曜日は家に帰ったのが２３時過ぎ、そして昨日は０時半だったよ。
次の水曜日に、プレゼンがしなくちゃならない。だから同僚とその資料を作ってたんだ。

今日、起きたら１１時半だった。あ～ぁ、午前中が台無しだ。僕は、朝遅く起きたら、損したなって思う。
それから朝食（昼食？）を食べて、洗濯して、部屋を掃除して、英語の勉強をして、少しだけテレビを見て、マーケットと本屋に行った。帰ってきたら、１６時だった。今日は、何もしてない気がするし、一日損した気分だ。

でも、今度の月曜日は休日だ、イェーイ！まだ２日も休日があるぞ。
明日は早起きするぞ！多分･･･

Typhoon Will Come!

Typhoon calls another name in another area. I heard it calls cyclone, hurricane or willy-willy.
The typhoon comes near Japan now. TV news says it will be one of the strongest typhoon since starting weather observation, AND it will strike Japan directly!
Typhoon is expected to strike Kinki area where I live on 8th... I fear the big accidents will happen by typhoon.

But,but... I don't know why, as typhoon comes near and near, I feel excited!

「台風が来るぞ！」

台風は、場所によって呼び方が違う。サイクロンとか、ハリケーンとか、ウィリーウィリーとか呼ばれるらしい。
その台風が今、日本に近づいている。ニュースによると、観測史上最も勢力の強い台風だそうだ。しかも、それが日本を直撃するらしい！
台風は、僕が住んでる近畿地方に8日に上陸するって予想されてる･･･台風での大きな被害が出なければいいがと心配してるんだ。

でも、でもね･･･なぜか分からないけど、台風が近づけば近づくほど、わくわくしてくるんだ！

To the Space

I forgot that there is a topic I want to post. It's Japanese rocket called "H2B".
Do you know Japan has the technology to launch the rocket by oneself? In Japan, there is the agency called "JAXA" as well as "NASA" in US.

The history of rocket in Japan is long. There were many failures, but launching the artificial satellite, although it was test satellite, had succeeded for the first time in 1970.

After about 40years from that, at 2:01AM on 11 September in 2009, H2B, the latest rocket, was launched from Tanegashima Space Center. H2B had the mission that separate successfully HTV(H-2 Transfer Vehicle). And HTV's mission was automatically delivering the supplies to ISS(International Space Station). The mission had safety succeeded on 18 September.

That's great!

Well, There is a movie of launching H2B rocket. It's so beautiful and wonderful scene, because the time is the middle of night. It looks a huge light ball rises.

「宇宙（そら）へ」

投稿したい話題があるのを忘れてた。それは、“H2B”と呼ばれる、日本のロケットのことだ。
日本が自力でロケットを打ち上げられる技術を持ってるって知ってる？日本には、アメリカの“NASA”と同じように“JAXA”って言う機関があるんだよ。

日本のロケットの歴史は古い。多くの失敗はあったけど、試験衛星ながら、1970年に初めて人工衛星を打ち上げている。

それからおよそ40年後、2009年9月11日午前2時11分、最新のロケット、H2Bが種子島宇宙センターから打ち上げられた。H2Bには、HTVを上手く切り離すミッションがあった。そして、HTVのミッションは、人の操縦無しに、国際宇宙ステーションへ補給物資と届けることだった。

そのミッションは9月18日に無事成功した。すごい事だ！

さて、H2B打ち上げのムービーがある。それはとても美しく、素晴らしい。なぜなら、その時間が真夜中だからだ。まるで、巨大な光の玉が昇っていくように見えるよ。

The Big Project

I received an interesting mail last week. The mail was written about one project and I was very interested in it. So I introduce it on this post today.

The project is a name, "Castrol-1GO : Engine-driven free kicker development project".

Could you understand what the project is, after hearing the name? I couldn't understand at all. But fortunately a URL of this project's homepage was on the mail so I clicked.
My first impression when I watched the site was "What a silly try!". But after reading reports one after another, I knew the member of this project are very serious and I thought this may be awesome.

I can't still give a detailed explanation of this project in English, but I put it simply, they have developed the machine can kick a soccer ball. And at 200km an hour!

「ビッグプロジェクト」

先週、面白いメールをもらった。そのメールは、あるプロジェクトについて書いてあって、とても興味をそそられた。だから今日はこのポストで、それを紹介するよ。

そのプロジェクトは「エンジン駆動フリーキックマシンカストロール１号開発プロジェク

ト」っていう名前だ。

名前を聞いて、どんなプロジェクトか分かる？僕は全く分からなかった。でも幸いなことに、このプロジェクトのホームページのＵＲＬがメールに書いてあったから、クリックしたんだ。
そのサイトを見たときの最初の感想は「なんてばかばかしいプロジェクトだ」だった。でも、レポートを次から次に読んでいくと、このプロジェクトのメンバーはめちゃ真剣なんだってことが分かったし、これはすごいかもしれないって思ったね。

僕にはまだ、英語でこのプロジェクトを詳しく説明は出来ない。けど、簡単に言うと、彼らは、サッカーボールを蹴ることが出来るマシンを作ってるんだ。しかも、時速２００ｋｍで！

I wonder which to change my cellphone. What cellphone? It's "iPhone".
I've been interested in "iPhone", but my carrier hasn't it. So I have to change carrier.
And there is an another reason I hesitate. It's "Black Berry Bold". In fact, my carrier hasn't "iPhone", but have "Black Berry Bold".
I've actually researched the both on the Internet, or in shops. I have the impression that "iPhone" is stylish and "BBB" is tough.
Which do you choose?

「今僕が欲しいもの」

携帯電話を替えたいって思ってる。どんな携帯電話かって？“アイフォン”だよ。
“アイフォン”にはずっと興味があったんだ。でも、僕の契約してる携帯電話の会社では扱ってないんだよ。だから、携帯電話の会社を替えなくちゃならないんだ。
それに、迷ってる理由が別にもうひとつある。それが“ブラックベリーボールド”の存在だ。実は、契約してる携帯会社は、“アイフォン”は扱ってないけど、“BBB”は扱ってるんだ。
実際に、両方ともインターネットやお店で調べたよ。“アイフォン”はスタイリッシュ、“BBB”はタフって印象があるね。
君はどっちを選ぶ？

Memories of Summerdays

I like summer. Because it's the best season for beer!

By the way, over the summer, a strange sensation sometimes catches me and it always comes in the twilight. I can't explain the sensation well, but I try to do, it's the sensation like which "hope", "loneliness" and "nostalgia" mix.
I don't know why I have it. Maybe, I think that happy memories of summer vacation in childhood may get me up such sensation.

But it seems that the summer have gone away yet. I'll never feel that sensation until next summer.

「夏の日の思い出」

僕は夏が好きだ。だって、ビールにぴったりの季節だからね。

ところで、夏の間、たまに奇妙な感覚に捕らわれることがある。それは決まって夕暮れ時だ。その感覚をうまく説明できないけど、あえて言うなら、「希望」と「寂しさ」と「郷愁」が入り混じったような感覚だ。
なぜかはわからない。多分、小さいときの夏休みの楽しかった思い出がそんな感覚を引き起こしてるのかもしれないね。

でも、もう夏はどこかへ行っちゃったみたい。来年の夏が来るまで、あの感覚を感じることはないだろう。

Purpose and Means

I had kept away from my blog for a while.
It isn't the reason that I worked hard, or I had no time doing something else. I didn't only want to writing.
Then why I didn't want to post? After thinking that, I understood the reason.

I started this blog in order to progress my skill of writing and reading in English, however, recently my posting was decreasing. Because I had been embarrassed to post my wrong writing, so I didn't want to writing.
Yes, the means changed the purpose before I knew it.

After this, I go back to the initial enthusiasm, I want to keep on writing even if it's ONE line and without being afraid to mistake.

「目的と手段」

しばらく、ブログから離れてた。
仕事が忙しかったからとか、他にやることがあって時間が無かった訳じゃない。ただ、書きたくなかっただけだ。
じゃあ、なんでブログを書きたくなくなったのか？それを考えた後、理由が分かった。

僕は英語の読み書きのスキルを上げるためにこのブログを始めたんだけど、最近は投稿数も減ってきていた。なぜなら、間違がった英語を書くのが恥ずかしくなってきたんだよ。だから書きたくなくなった。

The Unlucky Day

The summer vacation finished, and my work started again from today. Besides, I had to wake up at 5 o'clock! Because I had arranged to meet my business partner in Takasago city at 7:30, and I needed 1 hour half to get there from my office.

Then I reached our office at 6 o'clock and I went to the parking structure to get out my car. When I got there, the car lift kept raising up because of someone used. So I waited for a while. But it was silent. So I waited for a while again. BUT! It looked not moving even if I waited for hours!!
I was angry a little, so I called the driver loudly. "Excuse me! I have no time. I have to go right now!"
... No answer.

"Hey! Do you hear me? I HAVE NO TIME!"
... But no answer as well.

As I shouting, a few people used this parking structure came to get out their cars as well as me.
"What's wrong?" A young man asked.
"Oh... I've trouble. Someone keep using the lift for a log time. I can't get out my car." I answered.
"Well, let me watch what's doing." He said, and climbed an emergency ladder.
After a while, he came down on the lift. and he said us.
"Ah... He says... He can't come out from car why I can't understand."
"WHAT!?" we were surprised by his word.
Somehow the door will be able to be opened, and also windows. It just froze...

As the result, I spent for 30 minutes there. And I managed to meet my business partner at just 7:30! But... An another problem also waited me here.
When we were going to our client's office, he said to me. "Sorry, Mr AEZ. I had trouble."
"WHAT!?, TROUBLE AGAIN!!!???" I thought.
"I mistaked our arrangements. Maybe our client will get angry a lot..." He said.
His guess was exactly right! We were struck by thunderbolts of our client.

Besides, it was very very hot all a day. Today was unlucky day for me.

夏休みが終わった。そして今日からまた仕事が始まった。しかも、5時に起きなくちゃならなかった。なんでかって言うと、高砂市で7:30に得意先の人と待合せの約束してたし、会社からそこまで1時間半かかるんだ。

そんで、6時に会社に着いて、営業車を出すために立体駐車場に行ったんだ。駐車場に着いたら、誰かがカーリフトを使ってんで、リフトは上がったままだった。だから、しばらく待ってた。でも動かない。だからまたしばらく待ってたんだ。でも！いくら待っても動く気配がしない！
ちょっと頭にきたから、運転手に大声で言った。「すみません！時間が無いんですけど。すぐに出ないといけないんです！」
･･･返事は無い。

「ねえ！聞こえてます？時間が無いんです！」
･･･しかし！やっぱり返事は無い。

僕が叫んでると、同じように車を出そうとして、この駐車場を使ってる人が何人かやって来た。
「どうしたんですか？」若い男の人が聞いてきた。
「ああ、困ってるですよ。誰かがずっとリフトを使いっぱなしで車を出せないんですよ」僕は答えた。
「じゃあ、何してるのか、僕が見てきますよ」彼は言って、非常用のハシゴを登っていった。
その後、彼がリフトに乗って降りてきて、僕達に言った。
「えーと、なんか、なぜだかわからないんですけど、車から出られないって言ってます」
「え！？」僕らは彼の言葉にびっくりした。
どうやら、ドアが開かなくなったらしい。それとウィンドウ（ズ）も。まさにフリーズしたってわけ。

結局、そこで30分もかかった。で、何とかちょうど7時半に得意先の人と会うことが出来た。けど･･･ここで、また別のトラブルが僕を待ち受けていたんだ。
僕らがお客さんところに向かってたら、彼が僕に言った。「AEZさん、ごめんなさい。困ったことになりました」
「何！？またトラブル！！！？？？」僕は思った。
「手配を間違えてしまって。多分めちゃめちゃ怒られるかもしれません」って彼が。
彼の予想は正に的中。僕らにはお客さんのカミナリが落ちました。

しかも、今日は一日中めちゃめちゃ暑かったし。最悪な一日でした。

What Are You Doing?

I'm in the summer vacation now. However I have no plan to go out somewhere or to do something. I've been at home everyday.
But it is NOT so bad. Actually, I like being at home. Reading books, listening to music, and watching DVDs. There are many things to do at home.
My recently favorite is "Twitter". Twitter is one of the social networking services and micro-blog services. And it's free.
Twitter ask us "What are you doing?". So we post what we are doing, thinking or feeling. But we can post only 140 characters on Twitter. Maybe I think you feel "only 140 characters?". But I think that it is good point. 140 characters is not short, but long than you think.
If you are interested in twitter, you can try it. Twitter will give you fun time.

「何してる？」

僕は今夏休み中。けど、どこに出かけたり、何かしたりとか計画はない。毎日ずっと家にいる。
でも、そんなに悪いことはないね。正直、家にいるのは好きなんだ。本を読んだり、音楽を聞いたり、DVDを見たり。家にいても結構やることはある。
僕の最近のお気に入りは"ツイッター"。ツイッターはSNSやミニブログの一種だ。しかもフリーのね。
ツイッターは僕らに「何してるの？」って聞いてくる。だから僕らはやってることや、考えてることや、感じてることを投稿するんだ。でも、ツイッターでは140文字しか投稿できない。多分"たった140文字?"って思ったと思う。でも、それが良いんだよ。140文字って、短いどころか思ってるより長いよ。

Sounds of Cicadas

Recently, it had not been so fine, but it was very fine today!
The sky was blue and spread over, clouds was white and stood high.

And cicadas were singing in chorus.
I thought this is really summer day.

By the way, do you know "HAIKU"? It is a kind of poetry and born in Japan.
I remember a haiku of "Matsuo Basho" when the summer came.

"Because I Am a Woman Born in Osaka"

The middle-aged women are often called "OBACHAN"s in Japanese.

Obachans have some characteristics. Many of them love chatting, gossips and don't care any other people's attentions. Especially in Osaka, they are called "OSAKA-NO-OBACHAN"s, and their characteristics are remarkable than obachans in other area.
There are some obachans who have transcended sex.

A recent event surprised me.

A few days ago, I was in Hankyu Umeda Station in Osaka. I wanted to do a pee, so I went to the rest room in the station.
When I got the men's room, an obachan came out from there...

Can you believe this? This is the "Osaka-no-obachan"

「大阪で生まれた女やさかい」

日本語で中年の女性は、しばしば"おばちゃん"と呼ばれる。
おばちゃんには、いくつかの特徴がある。彼女たちの多くは、おしゃべりが大好きで、噂話が大好きで、それに人の目をあまり気にしない。特に大阪では、彼女たちは"大阪のおばちゃん"と呼ばれ、他の地域のおばちゃんに比べ、その特徴はさらに顕著だ。
中には性別を超越したおばちゃんもいる。

最近起こった出来事に、僕はびっくりした。

何日か前、僕は大阪の阪急梅田駅にいた。おしっこがしたかったので、駅の中のトイレに向かった。
僕が男子便所に着いたら、中から一人のおばちゃんが出てきた･･･

信じられる？これが"大阪のおばちゃん"です。

The Z-Files season2

I like mysterious things and the supernatural. Actually I believe the existence of ghosts and UFOs.
It is regretful that I haven’t seen them yet, but I had haven a few mysterious experiences.
This story is one of them.

I had an aunt. She lived next door to me.
She had no children. So she loved me like her own son.
When I was a third-year student in high school, she got in sick and went into the hospital. On the bed, she cared about me, because it was before my entrance exam for university.
After that, I get through the exam. The news gave her big pleasure.

One day, I had a strange dream. My aunt was out in my dream.
She was walking in the woods. I found her and called her.
"Hey, auntie! Where are you going to go?"
But she didn’t reply any and look at me as if I didn’t exist there. She was only walking and she had gone to somewhere.

Suddenly, I waked from the dream. I thought I had a strange dream, and I looked at a clock. It was 2 o’clock at night. After that I slept again.

Next morning, when I came to living room, I looked my mother was crying.
I asked her.
"Hey, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?"
Mother said.
"Auntie was dead at night"
I was surprised very much.
There was a thing I must know, so I asked her again.
"What time was she dead?"
Mother said.
"It’s 2 o’clock at the middle of night."

I still believe that my aunt visited to me at her last…

「Ｚ-ファイル　シーズン２」

僕は不思議なことや超自然現象が好きだ。実際、幽霊やＵＦＯの存在を信じてる。
残念なことに、まだ見たことはない。けど、不思議な体験はしたことがある。
この話は、その中の一つだ。

僕にはおばさんがいた。あばさんは僕の家の隣に住んでた。
おばさんには子供がいなかったせいか、僕のことを自分の息子代わりにかわいがってくれてた。
僕が高３の時に、おばさんは病気になって入院した。でも、大学入試を控えた僕を、入院中も心配してくれてた。
その後、僕は何とか無事に合格した。そしてその知らせを聞いて、おばさんはとても喜んでくれた。

ある日、僕は夢を見た。その夢の中におばさんが現れた。
森の中をおばさんは歩いていた。おばさんに気づいた僕は声をかけた。
「ねえ、おばちゃん。どこ行くの？」
でもおばさんは、まるで僕がその場にいないかのように、返事もしなければ、僕の方を見ようともしなかたた。おばさんはひたすら歩くだけで、とうとうどこかへ行ってしまった。

急に僕は夢から覚めた。変な夢みたなって思って、時計を見ると夜中の２時だった。そしてまた眠りについた。

次の朝、居間へ行くと、母親が泣いていた。
僕は尋ねた。
「ねえ、どうしたの？何で泣いてるの？」
母が言った。
「夜中におばさんが亡くなったの」
僕はびっくりした。
僕にはどうしても知りたいことがあったから、母にまた尋ねた。
「おばさんは何時に亡くなったの？」
母は言った。
「夜中の２時よ」

おばさんは、最後に僕のところにやって来てくれたんだって、今も信じてる。

The Show in the Sky

Today, I watched a show.
I heard that a curtain of the show was raised in 46years in Japan.
The tittle of the show is "The Total Eclipse of the Sun".

To be exactly, The one I watched was not TOTAL but PARTIAL. A total eclipse of the sun couldn't be watched only around Amami ohshima island near Okinawa.
In Hyogo where I live, It rained yesterday. So, I thought I can't watch it.
But it was cloudy today. And it was lucky!
Maybe, if it was fine today, I think I couldn't take this picture.

Is that like a crescent?

「空の上のショー」

今日、僕はショーを見た。
日本では46年ぶりに、そのショーの幕が上がるって聞いた。
そのショーのタイトルは"皆既日食"。

正直なところ、僕が見たのは皆既日食じゃなくて、部分日蝕だ。皆既日食は沖縄の近くの、奄美大島付近でしか見ることが出来なかった。
僕の住む兵庫県では、昨日は雨が降ってたから、見れないと思ってたんだ。
でも今日は曇ってた。それがラッキーだった。
多分、今日晴れてたら、この写真は撮れなかったと思う。

Japanese-Style Curry

That's good taste! Good job!

Curry is originally Indian dish. I'd heard it was brought to Japan from England at the end of the Edo period. And now, It is too much to say that Japanese-style curry is a different dish from original curry.

Curry, as well as kara-age, is one of the most popular dishes in Japan. There are many curry shops in any cities. And also, curry is often made at home. Of course, I love it.
How to make Japanese-style curry is very easy.
First, meat(usually beef,pork,chicken or seafood) and vegetables(usually potatoes, onion and carrot) cut into suitable peaces, and fry them in a pot, and pour water, and boil together.
And last, put and stir curry roux into a pot. That's complete! It's so easy, right?

But, there is an easier way. Do you know?
That's this.

Just wait for three minutes.

Ah... Just to make sure, I say. The curry on first picture is not retort-packed!

「日本風カレー」

うまい！大成功！

カレーは元々インドの料理だ。カレーは江戸時代の終わりに、イギリスから日本にもたらされたって聞いたことがある。そして今や、日本風んカレーは、本来のカレーとは違う料理だと言っても過言ではない。

唐揚げと同様、日本ではカレーは最も人気のある料理の一つだ。どの街にも多くのカレー屋さんがある。そしてまた、カレーは家庭でもよく作られる。もちろん僕もカレーが大好き。
その作り方はとても簡単だ。
まず、お肉（普通は、牛肉か豚肉か鶏肉、もしくはシーフード）と野菜（普通はジャガイモと玉ねぎとニンジン）を、適当に切って、鍋で炒めて、水を注いで煮込む。
そして最後にカレーのルーを鍋に入れ、かき回す。それで完成！簡単でしょ？

でも、もっと簡単なやり方がある。知ってる？
それがこれ！

ほんの3分間待つだけだよ。

え～と、念のために言っとくけど。最初の写真のカレーは、レトルトじゃないよ。

The Sun, A Book and Beer

Today was also mecha hot.
In this kind of day, I thought so nice drinking beer outdoors.

Do you have any favorite place?
My one is a park near my apartment. I have often go there. I like reading a book on a bench.

So, I got to my favorite place at noon, with a book and, of course, beer!
It was so great drinking beer under the sun. Yeah!

A Sound of Summer

The real summer came.
I know it because the shade became darker than before.

How do you forget the heat of summer days? An air-conditioner? A fan? A cold drink?
I use a "FURIN".
FU means "wind" and RIN means "bell". Furin is made with steel or glass and used hanging near the window.
The clear sound of furin give us the cool.

The furin brings us the real feeling of summer in Japan.

「夏の音色」

本当の夏がやってきた。
以前より影が濃くなったことで、それがわかります。

あなたは、どうやって夏の暑さを忘れますか？エアコン？扇風機？冷たい飲み物？
僕は風鈴。
風は"wind"のこと。鈴は"bell"のことです。風鈴は鉄やガラスで作られていて、窓辺に吊るして使います。
その澄んだ音色は僕らを涼しくさせます。

風鈴は、日本の夏の風物詩なのです。

Like A Foreign Language

In comments for last post, gaijinhodge says "Actually, "mecha" is Osaka dialect for really. I guess language changed a lot in Japan since I left, because everyone south of Hiei mountain used "Mecha" and everyone north of Fuji mountain　used "Cho" when I was in Japan".

Oh,really?
In my opinion, I guess that mecha is often used in the west part of Japan, and cho is used in the east.
In fact, I'd said usually mecha when I lived in Fukuoka three years ago. (But I'd often used cho too, hehe...)

I was born and grew up in Fukuoka,Kyushu area. And I live in Hyogo,Kansai area now. Osaka as well as Hyogo is also in Kansai area.
In Fukuoka, there is a dialect said "Hakata-ben" in Japanese, in Osaka, there is "Osaka-ben". And the both dialects are well-known in Japan.

By the way, the standard Japanese is based on "Tokyo-ben".
In English, "What are you doing now?" says "Nani shiteruno?" in the standard Japanese.
However, in Hakata-ben, it says "Namba shiyotto?", and in Osaka-ben, "Nani shiten-nen?".
When you heard the three phrases: the standard Japanese, Hakata-ben and Osaka-ben, can you sense they have same meaning?
If you couldn't sense that, don't worry. Because, there are many dialects even the Japanese can't understand, and really sounds like foreign languages in Japan!

I think every countries have dialects like Japan has. How are dialects in your county?

Oh,yes, I thought about mecha and cho yesterday, and I caught a good idea!
I created a hybrid word mixed mecha with cho.
It's "MECHO"! How's this? Do you feel that's MECHO cool?

「外国語みたい」

前のポストのコメントで、gaijinhodge曰く「実際のところ、"めちゃ"は大阪の方言だ。僕が離れて以来、日本では言葉が大きく変わったって思う。だって、僕が日本にいたときは、比叡山より北の人達が"めちゃ"を使って、富士山より北の人たちが"ちょー"を使ってた」

え、マジで？
僕の考えでは、めちゃは西日本で、ちょーは東日本でよく使われてたと思うんだけど。
実際、三年前に福岡にいたときはしょっちゅう、めちゃって言ってたな。（たまに、ちょーも使ってたけどね。へへへ）

僕は九州地方の福岡県で生まれて育った。そして今は関西地方の兵庫県に住んでる。兵庫県と同じく大阪も関西地方にある。
福岡では日本語で"博多弁"って言う方言があって、大阪には"大阪弁"があるんだ。そして、その二つの方言は日本でも有名なんだよ。

ところで、日本の標準語は、東京弁がベースになっている。
英語の"What are you doing now?"は、標準語で言うと"なにしてるの？"になる。
けど、博多弁では、"なんばしよっと？"って言うし、大阪弁では、"なにしてんねん？"って言うんだ。
標準語、博多弁、大阪弁の三つのフレーズを聞いたとき、あなたは同じ意味だってわかるかな？
もしわからなくても、気にすることはないよ。だって、日本人でさえ理解できなくて、本当に外国語みたいに聞こえる方言が日本にはたくさんあるからね。

日本にあるように、どの国にも方言ってあると僕は思う。あなたの国にはどんな方言がありますか？

あ、そうそう。昨日、めちゃとちょーのこと考えて、いいアイデアが浮かんだんだ。
めちゃとちょーをミックスしてハイブリッドな言葉を作ったよ。
それは"めちょー"！どうこれ？めちょークールだと思わない？

I Like English "Mecha"

It was very hot today. I sweated all over as soon as I went out.
In Japanese, "very hot" say "mecha atsui". Mecha means "very", atsui means "hot".
I think that "very" usually translates as "totemo" or "sugoku" in Japanese, but it is not often that we use them in conversation.
Mecha is like slang in Japanese.

How is mecha used? For example, "mecha kakkoii", "mecha sugoi" and "mecha nonda" etc...
Well, I'll explain each of them.
Mecha kakkoii means "So cool!", mecha sugoi means "How great!" and mecha nonda means "I drank so much".
So, using mecha, I can say "Mecha cool!", "Mecha great!" and "I drank mecha".
And more, "very good" is "mecha good", "It rains hard" is "It rains mecha." and "This shirt is too tight for me." is "This shirt is mecha tight for me."

Did you understand how to use mecha? If you understood, you should answer "I understood mecha!"
Let's use mecha from tomorrow!

「英語がめちゃ好き」

今日はすごく暑かった。外に出ると、すぐに汗だくになったよ。
日本語でvery hotをめちゃ暑いって言う。めちゃはveryで、暑いはhotって意味。
"very" は通常、日本語で"とても"とか、"すごく"とか訳されると思うけど、会話の中ではあまり使わないね。
めちゃは日本語のスラングみたいなもんだ。

めちゃはどうのように使うのか？例えば、「めちゃかっこいい」、「めちゃすごい」、「めちゃ飲んだ」などなど･･･
では、それぞれ説明しましょう。
めちゃかっこいいは"So cool!"って意味で、めちゃすごいは"How great!"、そしてめちゃ飲んだは"I drank so much."っていう意味だ。
だから、めちゃを使うと、これらは"めちゃcool!"、 "めちゃgreat!"、"I drank めちゃ"って言うことができる。
さらに、"very good" は "めちゃいい"、 "It rains hard." は "めちゃ雨降ってる" そして "This shirt is too tight for me." は "このシャツめちゃきつい"だ。

めちゃの使い方わかった？もしわかったのなら、こう答えたらいい「めちゃわかった！」
明日からめちゃを使おうぜ！

A Sign of Summer

In Japan, there is a rainy season called "TSUYU" in Japanese. It's for around a month from the middle of June to the middle of July.
In fact, I recently had to take an umbrella almost everyday.
It's very very uncomfortable season, because it's very wet and hot.
So I hate tsuyu! I want to finish tsuyu as soon as possible.

By the way, the end of tsuyu means the beginning of real summer.
And, today, I found the sign of summer! That's this!

Yes, a cast-off skin of cicada! Cicadas tell us the summer comes.
I think the tsuyu will finish soon, and the summer will come.
Glaring sunshine, girls in bikini on beach, and sounds of cicadas...

But I don't like hot summer so much too...

「夏のサイン」

日本には、日本語で“梅雨”と呼ばれる雨の季節がある。6月の中旬から7月の中旬にかけて、約一ヶ月間がその時期だ。
実際に、最近はほとんど毎日、傘が欠かせなかった。
ジメジメしてて暑くて、めちゃめちゃ不快な季節だよ。
だから僕は梅雨が嫌い！梅雨なんかすぐに終わってほしい。

ところで、梅雨の終わりは、本格的な夏の到来を意味する。
そして今日、僕は夏のサインを見つけたんだ。それがこれ！

そう、セミの抜け殻！セミは夏が来たことを僕らに教えてくれる。
もうすぐ梅雨が終わって、夏がやってくるんだと思う。
まぶしい日差し、浜辺のビキニの女の子、セミの声･･･

でも、暑い夏もあまり好きじゃないな･･･

Did You Eat Eel Yet?

Yesterday, I took a lunch in "Yoshinoya".
Yoshinoya is the most famous "GYU-DON" restaurant chain in Japan.
What's about gyu-don?
"Gyu" means beef. And "don" is short for "donburi" that is a Japanese style bawl.
Gyu-don is a dish that boiled many slices of beef with flavored broth on rice in donburi.

But my target was not gyu-don, that was "UNA-DON"!
"Una" is short for "unagi". And Unagi means eel. In japan, eels are usually ate as "KABAYAKI".
Kabayaki is a dish that broiled eels with secret sauce. That sauce called "TARE". Tare has very complex taste; sweet, a little bitter and a just little pungent.
Una-don, as well as gyu-don, is a dish that broiled some pieces of kabayaki on rice with tare n donburi.
　

By the way, why did I eat unadon?
In Japan, there is a custom that eat the eel in July. We say it "DOYOU NO USHI NO HI".
It is the old wisdom that eating eels as high nourishing foodstuff makes us healthy　before summer.

「もう、うなぎは食べましたか？」

昨日、“吉野家”でお昼ご飯を食べた。
吉野家は日本で一番有名な牛丼のチェーン店だ。
牛丼って何でしょう？
“牛”は牛肉のことで。そして、“どん”は日本風のボウルの“どんぶり”を省略したものだよ。
牛丼は、どんぶりにつがれたご飯に、煮たスライス肉を味付けした煮汁と一緒に盛った料理なんだ。

でも、僕の目的は牛丼じゃなかく、うな丼だった！
“うな”は“うなぎ”を省略した言い方だ。日本では、うなぎはだいたい“蒲焼”で食べられる。
蒲焼は秘密のソースで直火で焼いたうなぎ料理のことだよ。そのソースは“タレ”と呼ばれてる。タレは甘くて、少し苦くて、そしてほんの少しピリっとした、とても複雑な味わいがある。
牛丼と同じく、うな丼はどんぶりにつがれたご飯に、蒲焼を盛った料理だ。

ところで、何で牛丼を食べたか？
日本では、7月にうなぎを食べる風習がある。“土用の丑の日”って言うんだ。
夏を前に、栄養のあるうなぎを食べることによって元気を維持できるっていう、昔の知恵なんだ。

うな丼を食べて、健康でいましょう！

.Today's post is my recipe of kara-age, because I got a request from Susan C.
If you like, try this!

-Ingredient-

2 chicken thighs (500g)
shoyu(means soy sauce)
sake(means Japanese rice wine)
grated garlic
grated ginger
salt
pepper
starch

-How to make-

1. The first, make "TARE"(means the sauce to soak).

6 tablespoons of shoyu
6 tablespoons of sake
1 tablespoon of grated garlic
2 tablespoons of grated ginger

2. They mix into the bawl.

3. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized of peaces, and sprinkle some salt and pepper over.

4. After cutting, pieces of chicken soak into tare for 5 minutes.
*I like lightly seasoning. If you like well seasoning, chicken should be soaked for 10 minutes over.*

6. During soaking, the starch spread over the tray, heat cooking oil and keep it at 170°C(340°F).

7. Then, peaces of chicken is coated the starch on the tray, but not completely, and into the oil. At this point, I have one advice. You may adjust chicken like a ball, because of fried uniformly.

8. When the foam from chicken become smaller than begging and the surface of chicken is browned, it's the sign of finish!

9. Let's enjoy kara-age with beer!
*If you feel the taste is light, sprinkle some salt and pepper over.*

「味は自己責任で」

今日のポストは唐揚げのレシピです。スーザンCからのリクエストがあったからです。
良かったら、試してみて！

-材料-

鶏モモ肉（500g）
醤油
日本酒
すりおろしたニンニク
すりおろした生姜
塩
コショウ
片栗粉

-作り方-

1. 最初に“タレ”を作ります。

醤油大さじ 6杯
日本酒大さじ 6杯
すりおろしたニンニク大さじ 1杯
すりおろした生姜大さじ 2杯

2. それらをボウルで混ぜ合わせます。

3. 鶏モモ肉を一口大に切って、軽く塩コショウをふります。

4. 切った後、切り身をタレに5分間漬け込みます。
　＊僕はあっさり味が好きなので、もし、濃い味が好きなら、10分以上漬けてください。＊

5. 漬けてる間に、片栗粉をトレーの上に広げ、油を温めて170℃にキープします。

6. それから、切り身をトレーの上で片栗粉にまぶしますが、別に完全にまぶさなくても良いです。

7. それから油に入れていきます。ここでアドバイスがあります。切り身をボールみたいに丸く整えると、むらができません。

8. 鶏肉から出る泡が最初より小さくなり、表面がキツネ色になったら出来上がりのサインです。

9. ビールでおいしくいただきましょう！
　＊もし、味が薄いと感じたら、塩とコショウをふりかけてください。＊

"Ate" with Beer

Today's supper was "KARA-AGE". Of course, I cooked it.
Do you know kara-age? It's a Japanese fried chicken and it has the taste of shoyu.

Kara-age is one of the most popular dishes in Japan. Japanese people like kara-age very mutch. We eat it at home, restaurant and izakaya.
In fact, I often eat kara-age bento.
(Bento is a takeout lunch.)

Kara-age is a match for rice, but it is also a good match for beer.
Dishes eaten with beer or sake are said "ATE" or "TSUMAMI" in Japanese. We say "Beer-no-ate" or "Sake-no-tsumami".
In English, what do "ate" and "tsumami" say? I couldn't find them in my dictionary.

After supper, kara-age changed "beer-no-ate".
Kara-age and beer. What a wonderful couple they are! Like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie!

「ビールのあて」

今日の晩御飯は“唐揚げ”。もちろん自分で作ったよ。
唐揚げって知ってる？日本風のフライドチキンで、味は醤油風味なんだよ。

唐揚げは日本で最もポピュラーな料理の一つだ。日本人は唐揚げが大好き。家でも、食堂でも、居酒屋でも食べる。
実際、僕もちょくちょく唐揚げ弁当を食べてるよ。

唐揚げはご飯のおかずだけじゃなくて、ビールにもぴったりなんだ。
ビールや日本酒を飲むときに食べる料理は、日本語で“あて”とか“つまみ”って言うんだよ。僕らは“ビールのあて”とか“酒のつまみ”って言ってる。
英語ではなんて言うのかな？僕の持ってる辞書には載ってなかった。

晩御飯の後、唐揚げはビールのあてになった。
唐揚げとビール。なんて素敵な組合せなんだ！まるで、ブラッド・ピットとアンジェリーナ・ジョリーみたいだ！

では･･･　かんぱ～い！

Do you do your best?

Today, a man retired from work upon reaching retirement age.
He had been my superior around fifteen years ago.
He had worked very hard. And he loved drinking.
In fact, he often had taken me drinking.
I still remember a word given by him.

One day, when we drank, he asked me.
"Hey AEZ! Are you doing the best on your work?"

I answered him.
"Yes, I do my best!"

Then, he said like this.
"No... During "I do my best." you say, you haven't done your best yet."
"You can do it more."

It is very impatient that I can't express his intention well in English.
Anyway, when I heard that word, I felt his spirit against all things.

Now, I want to say him.
"Thank you for your guidance, and enjoy your life from now."

「がんばってますか？」

今日、ある人が定年退職した。
15年ほど前に、僕の上司だった人だ。
よく働いて。よく飲む人だった。
実際、僕もよく飲みに連れていってもらった。
その人から言われたことを、今でも覚えてる。

ある日、飲んでたとき、彼が聞いてきた。
「おい、AEZ。仕事がんばってるか？」

僕は答えた。
「はい。がんばってます！」

すると、彼はこう言った。
「いいや。『がんばってます』って言えるのは、まだがんばってないのと同じだ」
「お前はもっとやれるはずだ」

英語では、彼の言いたいことをうまく表現できないことが、すごくもどかしい。
とにかく、その言葉を聞いたとき、彼のスピリットを感じた。

今、彼に言いたいことがある。
「御指導、ありがとうございました。これからは自身の人生を楽しんでください」

Do You Know WASABI?

Japanese likes fish for food. In fact, there are many recipes for fish in Japan: broiling, boiling, frying, and raw.
"SASHIMI" is one of the most popular dishes of all. It's that slices raw fish and dishes their up beautifully: tuna, sea bream, cuttlefish, salmon and etc.
We eat it with "SHOYU" and "WASABI". SHOYU is soy sauce and WASABI is Japanese horseradish.
Eating SASHIMI, Japanese can't eat it without both SHOYU and WASABI.

This is SASHIMI.

Eat with SHOYU.

But, WASABI is very pungent. So, we must be take care to eat it. If you eat a lot of WASABI at the one time, your brain will break!
Watch this movie. I could not watch this without tears.

Lastly, I have one caution for you. Don't eat wasabi by NOSE. Never!

「ワサビって知ってる？」

日本人は魚をよく食べる。実際、日本にはたくさんの調理法はある。焼いたり、煮たり、揚げたり、そして生でも。
それらの中でも、“刺身”は最も有名な料理だ。マグロ、鯛、イカ、サーモンなどの魚を薄く切って、きれいに盛り付けたものだ。
刺身を食べるとき、日本人にとって醤油とワサビは欠かせない。

しかし、ワサビはとても刺激が強い。なので、食べるときは気をつけなければいけない。もし、一度に大量のワサビを食べたなら、あなたの脳は破壊されてしまうだろう。
この動画を見て欲しい。僕はこれを、涙なしでは見ることができなかった。

最後に、あなたたちに一つだけ忠告がある。ワサビを鼻で食べてはいけない。絶対に！

Today, I want to explain you it using English word has the most nearest SOUND.

We hear the bark of dog like this.
It is "One one!"
It really sounds like "One one".

Then, the cat?
It is "Near near!"
Actually, it sounds like "Nyaa nyaa".

The last, the chicken. It was hard to think this.
It is "Coke echo call!"

When I saw him first, I was late teens.
His music, dance and movie struck me like thunder.
That's "Michael Jackson", and his "Thriller".

In Japan also, TV is full of his sad news.
After we lost a great something, it have been alive as a legend.
Michael became also a legend today.

I pray for the repose of Michael's soul. And I am going to remember him watching "Thriller" on DVD .

This is the story I had read on a book before.
After reading, I had to think about myself for a while.

One day, a father and his son were involved in a car accident.
The father was dead at that point, but luckily, the son was alive and carried to a hospital soon.

The operation started immediately.

The Last Game to The World Cup

Japan vs. Australia.

Last night, there was the last game of group A, the Word Cup Asian final qualify.
Australia was strong. In fact, I expected that Japan would lose the game. The result was so.
The first half ended that Japan leaded Australia 1-0.

But, in the second half, Australia got two goals.
Japan was beaten by Cahill as FW. He is one of the greatest strikers in the world. I hope that he is naturalize in Japan!

Anyway, I want to say "Congratulations !" to every Australians. And see you again at the final of the World Cup.

By the way, Kennedy as another FW is too tall. He looked 3 meters!

「ワールドカップへの最後の試合」

日本対オーストラリア

昨日の夜、ワールドカップアジア最終予選グループAの最終戦があった。
オーストラリアは強かった。実際、日本は負けるんじゃないかなって予想してた。結果はその通りになったんだ。
前半は、日本が1-0でリードして終わった。

でも後半に、オーストラリアは2点入れたんだ。
フォワードのケーヒルに日本は叩きのめされた。彼は世界中のストライカーの中でも最もすごいストライカーの一人だ。日本に帰化してくれないかな～。
でもまあ、僕は全てのオーストラリアの人達に「おめでとう」って言いたいね。そして、ワールドカップの決勝で、また会いましょう。

ところで、もう一人のフォワードのケネディは背が高いね。3メーターくらいに見えたよ！

The Gundam Will Stand Up Soon

At first, watch this movie.
Japan had really developed the "GUNDAM" for self-defense.

Well, it's just a joke.
This is a movie that the Gundam is built now at Odaiba, Tokyo. This is full scale and the height reaches 18 meters!
It's a fact that this is one of the projects of 30th anniversary of birth of Gundam. This event will open from 11 July till 31 August.
Humm, that's 30th anniversary. When I first watched the Gundam on TV 30 years ago, I was a junior high school student. It was the most unique, exciting, impressive for me ever to watch animations. And it have not changed until today.

At last, I have only one request to you. Please don't ask me my age.

日本は、自国防衛のために、本当に“ガンダム”を開発してしまった。

まぁ、ただの冗談だけどね。
これは、現在、東京のお台場で建造中のガンダムの動画だ。これは実物大で、全長は18メートルに達する！
実は、これはガンダム誕生30周年記念プロジェクトの一環なのだ。このイベントは7月11日から、8月31日まで開催される予定だ。
う～ん、30周年記念か。30年前、テレビで初めてガンダムを見たとき、僕は中学生だったよ。今まで見たアニメの中で、一番すばらしく、一番ワクワクして、一番感激したね。そして、それは今も変わっていない。

Such a mysterious thing really has happened in Japan.

More than 100 dead polliwogs have fallen from the sky recently at two locations in Ishikawa Prefecture, puzzling local residents and animal experts alike.

Locals are speculating that the little critters were blown in by a tornado or were dropped by dissatisfied birds.

Why Am I Leaning English?

I have three goals.

At first, I want to be able to understand what English speakers speak.
If I'll become so, I'll enjoy more.
Because when I'm watching the movies, I don't need the subtitles.

At second, I want to be able to read and write English.
If I'll become so, I'll be able to spread my world.
Because there are too many things written by English more than Japanese. For example, books and website.

At last, I want to be able to speak English.
If I'll become so, I'll be able to help you.
Because when if you visit to Japan and you are lost, and if I see you, I'll be able to tell you the right way.

But, I'll spend many times to be so.

「なぜ英語を学ぶのか？」

僕には３つの目標がある。

1つめは、英語で話されてる内容が理解できるようになりたい。
もしそうなったら、もっと楽しめる。
なぜなら、映画を見ているとき、字幕を追わなくていいから。

2つめは、英語を読んだり、書いたりできるようになりたい。
もしそうなったら、自分の世界を広げられる。
なぜなら、日本語より英語で書かれているものの方が、すごくたくさんあるから。例えば本やウェブサイト。

最後は、英語が話せるようになりたい。
なぜなら、もしあなたが日本を訪れて、道に迷ったとき、そしてもし僕があなたに気づいたら、正しい道順を教えてあげられる。

でも、そうなるには、たくさん時間がかかりそうだ。

Thursday, I went to HIMEJI with my work.

HIMEJI is one of the cities in HYOGO pref. HYOGO has KOBE is well-known in Japan. However, HIMEJI is also a famous city as well as KOBE in Japan. Because there is "HIMEJI-JO". (Jo means the castle.)

HIMEJI-JO has an another name. The name is "SHIRASAGI-JO". (Shirasagi means the white heron.)
The appearance is white like the snow, the figure is beautiful like a bird flying. Because of these reasons, HIMEJI-JO is known us as the most famous castle in Japan.

By the way, Do you think who had lived in the castle? The answer is "TONOSAMA". TONOSAMA means a lord in English. TONOSAMA is also "SAMURAI". But, the look is quite different from the popular samurai.
His clothes, we say "KIMONO", is so gorgeous! His hairstyle, we say "CHONMAGE", symbolizes the dignity like a tall tower! And, his face looks like the white heron! ... What!?

「白鷺のごとく」

木曜日、仕事で姫路に行った。

姫路は兵庫県にある市のひとつだ。兵庫県には日本ではよく知られている神戸市がある。しかしながら、姫路も神戸と同じように日本では有名だ。なぜなら“姫路城”があるからだ。

姫路城にはもう一つ名前がある。その名も“白鷺城”。
その外観は雪のように白く、その造形は飛ぶ鳥のごとく美しい。そのような理由から、姫路城は日本で最も有名な城なのである。

ところで、城には誰が住んでいたと思う？答えは“殿様”。殿様は英語で言うとロードだね。殿様は“侍”でもある。でも、見かけは普通の侍とは全く違うんだ。
彼の着ているもの、僕らは“着物”って言ってるけど、とても豪華なんだ！彼のヘアースタイル、僕らは“ちょんまげ”って言ってるけど、まるで高い塔のように、権威を象徴してる。そして、その顔は白鷺のみたいなんだ。･･･　ん！？

もしも、侍や着物やちょんまげが見たくて日本に来ようと思ってるなら、そんなの見れなくてがっかりするだろうな。
でも、テレビでなら見れるかも。運がよければ“バカ殿”もね。

I like mysterious things. Concretely, ghost story, UFO and alien, UMA as Nessie, and Urban Legend.
This is one of my favorite "Urban Legend". I expect that there are similar stories about "Urban Legend" in other countries. Have you heard this story?

"The Fear Baby"

At certain place, the baby was born. But, the baby spoke nothing since giving birth.
At certain day, the baby suddenly spoke.
The baby said "Garndpa". When grandfather heard it, he was glad lots.

Next day, grandfather was dead.

After that, the baby spoke nothing again.

But, At certain day, the baby suddenly spoke again.
The baby said "Garndma". When grandmother heard it, she was also glad lots.

Next day, grandmother was dead.

The parent felt horrible. However, they might believe it was a just accident.
After that, the baby spoke nothing again.

But, at certain day, the baby suddenly spoke again. The baby said "Mam".

Next day, the mother was also dead as well as their.

The father really felt horrible. He thought next was me. He prayed that the baby speak nothing.

But... At certain day, the baby suddenly spoke... The baby said "Dad".

When he heard the word, he was in despair. He thought, "I'll be dead tomorrow".
But, next morning, he was not dead. He shouted with pleasure, "I'm alive!". But,why???

At just time, the funeral of neighbor husband was preparing.

“恐怖の赤ちゃん”

僕はミステリアスなことが好きなんだ。具体的には、幽霊話や、UFOや宇宙人、ネッシーみたいな未確認生物、それと都市伝説。
これは、「都市伝説」の中でも、僕の好きな話のひとつだ。「都市伝説」に関しては、同じような話は他の国でもあるって思う。君はこの話、聴いたことあるかな？

「恐怖の赤ちゃん」

I think everybody know "robot".
In Japan, we can watch many robot animations. In fact, Japanese boys have grown up watching robot animation. I was so too. (I liked "Gundam" very much!)
By the way, do you know Japan is famous for real robot?

Have you heard the name "ASIMO"? That's made by HONDA. No, he was born in HONDA.
The characteristic of him is "two-footed walking".

Meanwhile, in U.S.A., "four-footed walking" robot was developed by Boston Dynamics. The name is "Big Dog".

When I watched this movie, I thought Japan never win against U.S.A.(on humor).

日本では、たくさんのロボットアニメを見ることができる。実際、日本の男の子は、ロボットアニメを見て大きくなるんだ。僕もそうだった。（僕は“ガンダム”が大好きだった）

I understood the reason for too many visit. My blog was introduced on "Blogs of Note". Some comments told me that.
But I can't believe, because I opened here nearly a month ago.

By the way, I love "The catcher in the Rye" written by J.D.Salinger. I'd read the Japanese version 5 times. After that, I wont to read it in the original, I bought it a few years ago. But it was too difficult to me. And also now.

On the comment, some people gave me advices that I should to read many books for grammar learning. Yes, I'm going to try it! Someday, I'll be able to read "The catcher in the Rye".

こんなに多くの訪問の理由がわかった。“注目ブログ”で紹介されたんだ。いくつかのコメントに書かれてた。
でも信じられない。だってここを始めたの約1ヶ月前だよ。

ところで、僕はサリンジャーの書いた「ライ麦畑で捕まえて」が大好きなんだ。翻訳版は5回読んだ。その後、原書が読みたくて何年か前に原書を買ったんだ。でも難しすぎた。今もそう。

コメント上で何人かの人が、文法の勉強には多読がいいってアドバイスをしてくれてる。うん、やってみるよ。そしたらいつか、「ライ麦畑で捕まえて」が読めるようになると思う。

Actually, I was going to write this entry until yesterday evening. However I could not write. I think you see the reason.

Yesterday, the weather was rain in the morning. It became fine around noon, but it was cloudy and looked like rain again toward evening.

Today, we had training of "accounting "in our office. We'll have to do again in Thursday.
I am not a professional of accounting, I am an only salesperson. Of course, coworkers is same.
But, our manager says, "Now, salespersons not only must have an ability for sale, but also accounting".

But, I tried it, it was more interesting than I imagined!　I'm looking forward to Thursday.

Today is fine. The day like this makes everybody want to go out.
So, I decided to went to a barbershop by walking. It takes about 30minutes from my home.
When I walked, I saw it. What's happened? Two police cars stopped over there.
An accident? An incident? There were some policemen.
I saw what were they doing by them.
They were searching the entrance of izakaya(pub is called this in Japan). A thief,certainly!
But, the door looked not broken. A security guard was there too. Maybe, a criminal ran away not to be able to steal any, because an alarm sounded. I thought so.

“何事？”

今日はいい天気だ。こんな日は、外出したくなるよね。
つーことで、歩いて床屋さんに行くことにしたんだ。自宅から、だいたい30分くらいかかる。
歩いてたら、見たんだ。何事？向こうにパトカーが2台止まってる。
事故？事件？お巡りさんも何人かいる。
近くで何やってるか見たよ。
お巡りさんたちは、居酒屋の入り口を調べてた。きっと、泥棒だ！
でも、ドアは壊れないように見えた。警備会社の人もいた。多分、警報が鳴ったから、犯人は何も盗らずに逃げたんだ。僕はそう思ったね。

I'd been waiting for today. It was payday today!
But, this month's salary was lower than last month. Because, it's natural that I didn't work overtime than last month.

I usually cook a supper everyday. But today, I had a supper at "Ohsho", it's the name of Chinese restaurant.
It's a little luxury. But I'll cook a supper from tomorrow.

今日をずっと待ってた。今日は給料日！
でも、先月に比べると少なかったよ。残業しなかったから当たり前だよね。

いつもは毎日夕食を作ってる。でも今日は、中華料理の王将で晩御飯を食べた。

I finally got masks! That was lucky!

When I went to Osaka with my work today, I told my business companion that there are no masks anywhere.
After that, he said " I have a mask. But I'm not going to use it. I give you if you like."
What a good man he is!
I said "Thank you very very much!!", I was given a pack(5masks) of masks.

In Osaka and Kobe, there were many many people wore masks.
Everybody,be careful about flu. And I think you'd be better to buy masks before sold out.

ついにマスクをゲットした！ラッキーだった！

今日、仕事で大阪に行ったとき、仕事で付き合いのある人に、どこに行ってもマスクがないって話をしたんだ。
そしたら、その人が「マスクなら持ってますよ。でも僕は使うつもりないから、よかったらあげましょうか？」って。
なんていい人なんだ！
僕は「ありがとうございます！！」って言って、１パック（５枚入り）もらったよ。

大阪や神戸では、マスクをつけてた人がめちゃめちゃ多かった。
みんな、インフルエンザに気をつけてね。それと、売り切れる前にマスクを買った方がいいと思うよ。

After I wrote last entry,"Before Pandemic?", I went to drugstore to buy a mask.
But I could not buy any masks! Because it sold out! So,I had no choice but to go to another store.
But! Next store had nothing,too! Damn!
I tried it once again. It was last chance.
But,but the result was same after all...

Tomorrow, I'll have to pass not breathing all day.

Today was very hot like summer.
I wanted to wear a short-sleeved shirt. I hoped quickly to start cool-biz.
Do you know cool-biz? The period of it is from June to September. We need not to wear jackets and ties, and may wear short-sleeved shirts during cool-biz. Therefore, a room temperature need not to drop.
It is a very good program for environmental protection, and the most important way to pass comfortably for business persons in summer.

Imagine it. No jackets, no ties, and short-sleeved shirts. What great comfortable it is!
I want to give who starts cool-biz a Nobel prize for comfortableness!!

今日は夏みたいに暑かった。
半袖を着たかったよ。早くクールビズ始まらないかな。
クールビズって知ってる？６月から９月までがその期間なんだ。クールビズの間は、ジャケットやネクタイもつけなくていいし、半袖シャツでもいいんだよ。ゆえに部屋の温度も下げなくていいんだ。
環境保護に対して、とても良い取り組みだよ。それから、ビジネスパーソンが夏の間、快適に過ごす一番の方法さ。

考えて見てよ。ジャケットは着ない。ネクタイはしない。それに半袖のシャツ。めっちゃ快適！

A mail made me happy. My girlfriend passed an exam of the 3rd grade expert in tai chi chuan.
She has learned tai chi chuan for a long time. She passed an exam of the 2nd grade expert last year. She has stepped up well.
Today's exam is a first one. Next, she will have to pass a second exam in autumn. But it is nothing to be concerned abut it. She must get a results.

Anyway, I want to tell her this. “Congratulations!!!”

ハッピーなメールが来た。僕の彼女が太極拳の３段の試験に合格したんだ。
彼女は長いこと太極拳を習ってる。去年は２次試験に合格した。順調にステップアップしてる。
今日の試験は１次試験。次は、秋に２次試験を受けなくちゃならない。でも、きっと彼女なら合格すると思うよ。

とにかく彼女にこう言いたいね。「おめでとう！！！」

I got Windows7.

I downloaded Windows7RC and installed it on my computer yesterday.
I had used XP for 5years. So I expect Windows7. But...
Some programs did not run. I could not install Flash Player. IME was also strange. Explore was not easy to handle.

After all,I reinstalled XP today. I understand the best to use the thing always using very much.

“Windows７をゲットした”

昨日、Windows７RCをダウンロードして、PCにインストールした。
５年間XPを使ってきたんだ。だから、Windows７には期待してた。なのに・・・
動かないプログラムはあるわ。フラッシュプレイヤーはインストール出来ないわ。IMEもおかしい。エクスプローラーの使い勝手は悪い。

結局、今日XPを再インストールしたよ。いつも使ってるものを使うのが一番だって、よくわかったよ。

Today is the last day of “GOLDEN WEEK” . I'll have to work tomorrow.

Unluckily it rains today. I decided to stay home, and read books not read yet.

GOLDEN WEEK

That is GOLDEN WEEK. GOLDEN WEEK is holiday in Japan. We have holidays from the end of April to the beginning of May every year. In this year, it started 29th,April, and the end is 6th,May.(Exactly,1st and 2nd,May is not holiday. I worked hard.)
Today is 3rdDay of GOLDEN WEEK. Just middle of holidays.
What do I do today?
Watch videos? Go to sopping mall? Read books?
Anyway, I have many times.

“ゴールデンウィーク”

ゴールデンウィークだ。ゴールデンウィークって日本の祝日のことだよ。毎年、4月の終わりから５月の頭にかけて連休があるんだ。今年は4月29日から5月6日まで。（正確にいうと、5月1日と2日は休みじゃなかった。たっぷり仕事したよ）
今日はゴールデンウィークの3日目。ちょうど連休の真ん中だ。
今日は何しよう？
ビデオを見ようかな？ショッピングモールに出かけようかな？本を読もうかな？
とにかく、時間はたっぷりあるね。
